Garnavillo Grants for 2012
The City of Garnavillo is looking into
applying for two grants for 2012. The grants are for a First Time Homebuyer Program and for an Owner Occupied Rehabilitation Program. If awarded funding the maximum down payment assistance or rehabilitation provided is $24,999 Homes would have to meet Iowa's Minimum Housing Standards at project completion.

Anyone interested should stop by the City Hall in Garnavillo at 106 E Chestnut Street and complete a pre-application. Pre-applications may be mailed out as well. The more pre-applications the city gets, the better chance we have of receiving grant funds. Please return all applications to Garnavillo City Hall by October 10, 2011.
