Location:
Garnavillo is located on State Highway 52 in Northeast Iowa and is surrounded by fertile farmland with the Mississippi River six miles east of Garnavillo.

Fishing & hunting abound throughout the Garnavillo area. B & B's and campgrounds are nestled in the scenic valleys and hills surrounding Garnavillo. In the heart of downtown Garnavillo, visitors are welcomed to a city park with a shelter & playground. Next to the city park is the Garnavillo Historical Museum containing thousands of early manuscripts dating back to 1750. Garnavillo’s growth & hospitality can be seen in the outstanding attendance at their annual 4th of July celebration, which is the largest of Clayton County.
