| Landlord Lien Waiver |
NOTICE FOR RESPONISIBILITY
A water lien waiver does not exempt a landlord or property owner from the responsibility of sewer, garbage and recycling charges. Iowa code section 384.84(3.)(d.) only allow for a waiver from the water usage charges. Should usage continue on any multiple dwelling occupancy structure that is grandfathered in allowing it to not have a separate curb stop for each service will be changed for sewer/ garbage should the usage continue past the termination request provided by the tenant. Collection will be made by billing, offset programs or by a real estate lien pursuant to the City of Garnavillo’s Code of Ordinances 92.06, 99.06 and 107.12.
