City of Garnavillo, IA (pop. 763) is seeking candidates for Part-Time Chief of Police:
Candidates must have ILEA certification, at least five years of experience in a public law enforcement agency, and one years in a supervisory position and one year at a command level, possess a valid State of Iowa Motor vehicle operator’s license and firearms permit, pass a physical examination including drug tests.
Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice or an Associates Decree with acceptable job experience is desirable.
